Two-Day Intermediate Course

This course is an extension of our Introduction course you are eligible for this course if you have taken an Introduction course before.  We will build upon the technique learned at the Introduction level and develop more advanced technique, this is an opportunity to develop a solid roll and to learn the river running skills that will enable  you to navigate class II and III whitewater on our whitewater stretch.  After taking this course you should be able to pursue the sport on your own, we try to prepare our students to become self sufficient, able to keep themselves safe and help others stay safe as well.  The practice and learning that you receive in this course will leave you more confident and able to have a great time kayaking, you will leave much better prepared to start a long and rewarding boating career.
